Psycho-educational evaluations are performed when children or adults are having difficulties in school and work with learning based activities, they often benefit from an analysis of their strengths and needs to help identify more effective teaching and learning strategies. To assist in this analysis, we offer comprehensive psycho-educational evaluation services conducted by a Pennsylvania licensed and certified school psychologist.
Some reasons why someone might seek a psycho-educational evaluation would be to answer the following questions.
- Does my child have an autism spectrum disorder, if so, how does this impact my child’s learning?
- Does my child have a learning disability?
- Does my child have an attention deficit disorder or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder?
- Was my child’s school district’s multidisciplinary team evaluation or reevaluation accurate? If not you may be eligible to request an Independent Educational Evaluation paid for by your school district.
- Is my child mentally gifted?
- Does my teenager have a disability that makes him or her eligible for 504 accommodations in college or at work?
- Do I have a disability that makes me eligible for 504 accommodations in college or at work?
